Helena was born and baptised in Sławice and moved with her parents to Glinica where she lived until her marriage. Witness to the marriage was her father Wincenty Manterys and Marian Chwastek (25) from Celiny. Józef Sochacki was not previously married and was a carpenter. His parents were Wincenty and Agata Sochacki (Mucha).
